No! I didn’t love you
I just got insanely stuck!
No! You weren’t my destiny
You were all of my bad luck!

If it wasn’t for the first time
I would never choose you.
Just badly mistaken and no crime
Today, I’m gone and let you loose too.

Unloved by you to this extent
Thirsty;
I drank love after meeting him
You were just a rough way
That smoothly lead me to him
And now, I’m here to rather stay

Don’t ask me
Why am I untying the KNOT
Because he values and loves me
Or because you loved me NOT

[When we go Loveless; We find real Love!]

          I wish what I am going to say is not correct but don’t we all go through this?
          I wish no one has to. But wishes don’t come true, you see!

            Yeah we all go thru hardships.. But more important is how do we overcome these obstacles.. And m sure u have that will power within too. But sometimes the sadness, the memories haunt us ..

                Yes u got me right. Every time I was shattered I still kept moving forward.. It isn’t easy either .. Tough decisions had to be taken at times … I honestly wish you to get the happiness u have been longing for

    Love is a many splendored thing, and also it is said that Love is nature’s way of giving a reason for humans to be living on this earth! Humans are known and bound to err, for it is human to err.
    Like in any sphere of human activity, it is quite natural to go wrong or commit mistakes in matters of love, but the wisdom lies in realizing the folly, rectifying the errors and moving on in life believing in the words – “someday, someone will walk into your life, and make you realize why it never worked out with anyone else!”

        All good things come to an end, Shruti, as every beginning has an end! The trick is to be good and enjoy life as and when good fortune strikes, and treasure those memories for a rainy day. Life is nothing but a collection of memories, some good, some bad, some happy, some sad, some of success, some of failure, etc, etc. Love is a tender and memorable phase of one’s life yeilding memories according to one’s luck, fortune or call it fate or karma. Towards the sunset time of one’s life it is just these memories that lend support to one’s soul and strengthen one’s weak body to move on until it is time to say sayonara. So, be good, be happy and keep smiling!

    Aah ! Just a few days back (precisely when I turned to blogging) I was looking back at my life and felt so confused. It is sometimes so hard to make sense and to validate the actions of others as well as those of ourselves. And I read this lovely poem! “If it wasn’t the first time, I would never choose you”, “I just got insanely stuck”. Nailed it !
    How could we possibly know the meaning of love without mistaking it for something else once! That bad experience is probably necessary for our own good. How could a right fit structure be introduced in a mould (heart), without eliminating the misfit. It has to be done for the greater good, though removing the mis-fit will definitely do some damage on the walls of its mould. But it would be worth it.
    A great read ! Gives so many answers! Gives so much strength 🙂
    (Pardon me for such a long comment, was difficult to stop) 😀

      I really know how it feels mistaking love for something else. It’s human maybe to do that and rightly so!
