When I write, I feel more close to my own self. Hence, I am sure writing makes me feel better..

This is me, Shruti. I work in the filed of finance with an MNC. But my posts will in no way be related to Finance..Sigh Of Relief..please!

It’s been almost 3 long years I have been working since I completed my graduation.

I am moving along with life…and this life is in some unnecessary rush..Sometimes, I want to pause, sit down and analyse but then my alarm goes off each morning and I rush to get ready for a 9 hour job routine.

A lot is left unattended then..

Whatever is missing, I shall post here!

    I think writing is the perfect way to reflect. Its exposure to others is a release, an expression of who you are. While working out how you feel about things, you constantly question, revise, and crystallize those thoughts into a more concise picture of how you feel. The editing process, in my opinion, is where you define those feelings. And yes Shruti, I believe it to be … a very healthy thing to do. Stephen King hinted at it in his book “On Writing” when he was reviewing his early life. The 9 to 5 was what he had to do—he was working in a laundry—but his release, his passion, was his writing, and no doubt an escape. What a beautiful way to feel free!

    This 9-5 job makes us resort to writing even more ;)..and yes you’re so right I do constantly question my inner feelings and views and they become more meaningful when I find the answers..and that makes you write better…All this gets even better with experience!

    Glad that I stumbled upon your blog. Great to meet people who actually take time out for the things they like to do even within their busy schedule. Lot of people just adjust themselves to the 9-5 job and lead their life just thinking that they wish this could be done or that could be done. Thinking without action leads to failure. Hope to read more of your work. Keep up the good work and keep smiling because that’s what we forget to do in our monotonous routine.
